We are building an ARV which will follow a green line for EMK 310! The final race is on the 25 May 2015, where we will race against other teams doing the same module.

 

For the first practical, the sensor system of our car had to be designed, manufactured and tested.

The sensors have to track the line and keep it centred on the green line. The navigation system indicates when it is off-track, as well as which direction it should turn to return to the green line.

 

Practical 1 is essential for practical 3 ( Where the car has to be able to drive) as well as race day. Go have a look at our progress videos  where you will be able to see the cars in action and the path taken to making them.
